Port St Lucie

Port St. Lucie is a city in St Lucie County, Florida  and is located in the heart of Florida’s Treasure Coast, which is 45 minutes north of Palm Beach. Port St Lucie is the most populated city in St. Lucie County with a population of almost 190,000 according to the most recent United States census estimates. Port St. Lucie was one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. during the 2,000’s and the city population has exploded over the past 15 years.

Visitors can hike environmental preserves, paddle lush rivers, ride horses on nearby beaches, and even take in a spring training baseball game at the spring training location of the New York Mets.

Port St. Lucie is a paradise for golfers and there are many championship golf courses. The Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens features areas devoted to orchids, bamboo and native plants, as well as butterflies and hummingbirds. The Riverwalk Boardwalk winds through nearby mangroves. Southeast of the center, the waterways of the North Fork St. Lucie Aquatic Preserve are home to manatees, river otters, egrets and alligators.
